Ngāwhā Innovation
& Enterprise Park
Kaikohe, Northland
Various projects are currently in development on the 240-hectare Ngāwhā Innovation & Enterprise Park in Kaikohe. This park aims to facilitate a circular economy, in both the construction aspects and in the communal interactions between business within the park. It aims to uplift regional development through new employment opportunities. The park was awarded a Best Practice Award from Economic Development New Zealand for Inclusive Development in 2021.
Competed projects include:
Masterplan and infrastructure works.
The Mahinga Innovation Centre, which provides businesses with a flexible base in the mid-north without the hassle of setting up a dedicated workspace.
Regent Training Centre, which facilitates automotive, building and construction, and fitness programs.
NorthTec, which offers training courses in horticulture, welding and more.
